Easy-Sight's No-Dig Tech Debut in Vancouver

    Oct.31,2025

Easy-Sight Shines at the 41st ISTT International No-Dig Technology Exhibition Meeting in the Land of Maple Leaves From October 27-29, Easy-Sight appeared at the 2025 41st ISTT International No-Dig Technology Exhibition held in Vancouver, Canada. This event, organized by the International Society for Trenchless Technology, is a significant gathering in the international no-dig technology field.

Easy-Sight's No-Dig Tech Debut in Vancouver

The exhibition covered an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, with nearly 200 companies participating, focusing on showcasing the latest advancements, equipment, materials, and solutions in no-dig technology, covering areas such as pipeline rehabilitation, directional drilling, microtunneling, and pipe jacking. During the three-day exhibition, representatives from companies in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and other countries visited Easy-Sight's booth. The products displayed on-site, such as the X5-HT5 pipeline measurement robot and the X5-HMA4 small-diameter pipeline inspection robot, attracted in-depth inquiries from many old and new friends.

During the exhibition, our overseas sales consultants introduced Easy-Sight's millimeter-level quantitative detection technology to the guests. By equipping a panoramic laser lens, it achieves millimeter-level measurement of pipeline structural parameters and various defects such as cracks, deformations, hidden connections, and siltation, while generating a 3D model of the pipeline in real-time, thereby solving the quantitative analysis challenges in pipeline health assessment, which drew high attention from the entire venue.

Easy-Sight's No-Dig Tech Debut in Vancouver

This overseas venture once again demonstrated Easy-Sight's solid technical capabilities on the international stage. Through face-to-face exchanges with local enterprises and end customers, it further deepened mutual understanding and trust, and verified the competitiveness of the company's core technologies in the international market, injecting strong momentum for the continued expansion of overseas business.

Inserted Lining High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipeline Repair Technology

Inserted lining high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe is a brand new pipe rehabilitation technology. The technology is to insert a HDPE pipe of suitable size into the old pipe that needs to be repaired. It takes advantage of the rigidity and strength of the old pipeline as the bearing structure, as well as the characteristics of HDPE pipe's corrosion resistance, wear resistance and permeability resistance, to form a "pipe in pipe" composite structure, so that the repaired pipeline has the comprehensive performance of steel pipe and HDPE pipe. This technology, by using the feature of HDPE pipe that it can automatically recover its original physical shape after deformation, is to retract HDPE pipe with special equipment. Before inserting, the lining pipe is pulled into the target pipe with a certain traction force as well as speed. Then the pulling force is removed and the liner is restored to its original diameter and tightly bonded with the outer pipe. The outer diameter of the lineing pipe is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the original tube. After the lining is completed, the lining pipe and the original tube are firmly combined and the thickness of the liner can be designed according to the needs.

Trenchless Rehabilitation Technology and Application of Pipeline Lining

Since the rise of pipeline trenchless rehabilitation technology in developed countries in the 1980s, it has become a widely used method for underground pipeline rehabilitation. By avoiding large-scale excavation, this technology reduces the impact on urban traffic, the environment, and residents' lives, hence gaining extensive attention and preference. This article will provide a detailed introduction to the main methods and application fields of trenchless rehabilitation technology and analyze its important role in urban network renovation.
