The 14th Middle East (Saudi) International Trenchless Technology Exhibition was successfully held from November 11 to 12, 2025, at the Hilton Hotel Conference Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the only trenchless technology professional event in the Middle East officially supported by the ISTT, the exhibition centered on Saudi Arabia’s "Vision 2030" megaprojects—such as NEOM and KAEC—attracting hundreds of premium exhibitors and nearly 10,000 professional visitors from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

EasySight made a remarkable appearance at the expo, presenting a range of innovative inspection and trenchless rehabilitation equipment. Their booth drew significant attention, with lively discussions and in-depth inquiries from attendees.
A key highlight was the demonstration of the X5-HT5 inspection robot, which sets a new standard with millimeter-level accuracy and fully quantitative analysis for pipelines from DN200 to DN3000. This technology overcomes the limitations of conventional CCTV crawlers by enabling precise measurements of pipe diameter, deformation, sediment, cracks, and more, all supported by 3D reconstruction and synchronized data platforms.

The system captures continuous panoramic imagery, allowing operators to conduct inspections efficiently without pauses, with all defects measurable and traceable via an integrated interface. Field applications include identifying a 15% cross-sectional reduction in a DN600 pipeline in China and detecting fractures in South Africa, demonstrating its global reliability.

Coinciding with EasySight’s 15th anniversary, partners visited the booth to extend heartfelt congratulations, reinforcing strong international relationships. As a strategic node in the Belt and Road Initiative, the Middle East remains a priority market for EasySight. The company continues to leverage innovation and cooperation to advance global trenchless technology.

EasySight brought multiple innovative products to the exhibition, becoming a highlight on site. The series of advanced detection and trenchless rehabilitation equipment attracted great interest and in-depth inquiries from many attendees, with lively discussions at the booth.

Does UV Light Curing Pipe Rehabilitation Reduce Pipe Flow Diameter?
UV-CIPP ultraviolet light curing repair will result in a slight reduction in pipe diameter, but this will not affect normal drainage and water flow: under normal operating conditions, the inner diameter reduction will not exceed 20mm, which complies with national standards; the lower water flow resistance of the inner lining wall can offset the flow loss caused by the reduction in cross-sectional area, and the water flow performance of the repaired pipe is actually better than that of the damaged original pipe. Combined with prior CCTV pipe inspection, differentiated inner lining wall thickness design, and standardized construction, abnormal diameter reduction issues can be avoided.

Key Safety Inspection Techniques for Pipeline Inspection Robots in Complex Box Culvert Environments
Urban box culverts are critical components of municipal underground infrastructure, serving essential functions such as stormwater drainage, utility management, and underground space maintenance. Compared with conventional municipal pipelines, box culverts feature larger internal spaces and more complex operating environments. Due to poor ventilation and confined conditions, manual inspections often involve significant safety risks.
