    The X7-DM Pipeline Power Sonar system consists of three main components: an underwater powered thruster, a cable reel, and a main control unit. 


    It is suitable for inspecting pipelines with diameters of DN350mm and above, as well as box culverts and rivers, under conditions of high water levels or complete submersion. 


    The system features a unique underwater submersible with a maximum travel speed of 1 meter per second.

    Functional Description

    The X7-DM Pipeline Power Sonar system consists of three main components: an underwater powered thruster, a cable reel, and a main control unit. It is suitable for inspecting pipelines with diameters of DN350mm and above, as well as box culverts and rivers, under conditions of high water levels or complete submersion. 


    The system features a unique underwater submersible with a maximum travel speed of 1 meter per second. Its powerful underwater propulsion provides strong resistance to water flow disturbances, enables it to maintain a specific depth, and allows for comprehensive and rapid detection of pipeline defects such as sediment deposition, misaligned joints, and detached connections. 


    During the inspection process, the system can display and record the sonar data and status information transmitted by the submersible in real time. It allows for quick capture of defect images and can acquire the pipeline's grade line in real time, facilitating judgment on internal sediment conditions. Upon completion of the inspection, a report can be generated immediately.

    • Main Control

      1. Configuration: Uses a tablet or smartphone as the Main Control, with built-in pipeline underwater sonar robot control system and sonar imaging analysis/reporting software; parameters like CPU, RAM, storage, screen size are configurable.

      2. Video Display: Integrates video image, sonar data, and inertial navigation data into one interface.

      3. Control Functions: Wireless control of the X7-DM Thruster (forward/backward, left/right turn, ascend/descend, depth-holding, auto-stabilization); real-time display from the top-view camera; adjustable top-view light brightness; control of cable reel's automatic winding.

      4. Status Display: Real-time display of time, date, pressure, pitch, roll, depth, battery level, etc.; font, size, and background color are configurable.

      5. Text Input: Supports input of Chinese/English characters for overlay on the video feed.

      6. Assistance Functions: Operate sonar acquisition control, display adjustment, measurement functions, etc.

      7. Clock Reference: Clock positioning for current defect location with display.

      8. Alarm Functions: Roll angle over-limit alarm; high/low air pressure alarms.

      9. Interactive Button: One-click startup of analysis software for interpretation and report analysis.

      10. Contour Editing: Edit auto-detected pipe wall contour manually; auto/manual setting of pipe center point.

      11. Playback & Capture: Play, pause, stop, resume cross-section images; scroll via progress bar; adjustable speed, frame-by-frame play; auto-marks corresponding panorama position.

      12. Image Adjustment: Adjust gain, noise reduction, color levels; apply filters; color modes (red, blue, green, grayscale, inverted grayscale, rainbow, etc.).

      13. 3D Model Navigation: High degree of freedom for 3D model exploration (solid, mesh, point cloud models) using pipe-walk or free-roam modes.

      14. Defect Interpretation: Mark frames as defects, set name, grade, clock position, comments.

      15. Reporting: Auto-generates reports containing cover, title page, TOC, project summary, defect stats/charts, sediment profile, panorama, detailed defect charts, etc.

      16. Export: Exports PSI format to AVI video for import into PipeVision software for comprehensive, standardized interpretation and reporting.
