UV-CIPP (Ultraviolet Cured-in-Place Pipe) rehabilitation material is one of the key consumables used in trenchless rehabilitation of urban underground pipelines. Often regarded as a critical “liner” in minimally invasive pipeline rehabilitation, it consists of an inner film, resin-impregnated fiberglass fabric, an impermeable outer film, and a UV-resistant outer film.
Under ultraviolet light, the material cures rapidly to form a new, high-strength pipe within the existing pipeline. This technology enables pipeline rehabilitation to shift from traditional excavation-based construction to efficient in-situ curing.
In the global UV-CIPP liner market, Easy-Sight is a reliable manufacturer committed to providing high-quality UV curing rehabilitation materials.
Easy-Sight's ZY-86 UV-CIPP liners can be customized in diameters ranging from DN150 to DN2200 mm and wall thicknesses from 3 mm to 20 mm, according to different project requirements. More than 2,000 km of the liners have been applied worldwide.
Easy-Sight currently operates 10 independent liner production lines, with an annual production capacity exceeding 600 km. This enables stable large-scale manufacturing and bulk supply for underground pipeline rehabilitation projects.

UV curing technology uses high-intensity ultraviolet light to cure the liner material within several hours.
Compared with conventional curing methods, UV-CIPP can significantly improve installation and curing efficiency, helping contractors shorten construction schedules and reduce disruption at the project site. The original article notes that UV curing can complete the curing process within hours and substantially increase construction efficiency.
Easy-Sight ZY-86 UV-CIPP liners are suitable for pipelines with different cross-sectional shapes, including:
Circular pipes
Oval pipes
Egg-shaped pipes
Square pipes
The liner can be customized for diameters from DN150 to DN2200 mm and wall thicknesses from 3 mm to 20 mm, allowing it to meet the requirements of different pipeline dimensions and rehabilitation conditions.
The ZY-86 liner has passed a 10,000-hour long-term mechanical performance test by TÜV Rheinland.
Its reduction factor is 1.24, while its long-term modulus of elasticity exceeds 10,000 MPa. After rehabilitation, the restored pipeline can achieve a service life of more than 30 years.
These performance characteristics make the liner suitable for demanding municipal sewer rehabilitation and underground pipeline renewal projects where long-term structural stability is required.
Easy-Sight's ZY-86 UV-CIPP liner is designed to meet pipeline rehabilitation requirements under a wide range of working conditions.
From large-diameter pipelines and long rehabilitation sections to cold environments, deeply buried pipelines, confined spaces, manholes, drainage projects, and localized UV curing repairs, Easy-Sight UV-CIPP rehabilitation materials have been successfully applied in a variety of projects worldwide.
In a DN1900 mm sewer rehabilitation project in Ningbo, Zhejiang, the existing pipeline was made of reinforced concrete.
The project conditions included:
Manhole depth: 7 m
Rehabilitation length: 36 m
Designed liner thickness: 15 mm
Existing defects: leakage and other structural problems
The project used the ZY-86 UV-CIPP liner, with continuous UV curing lasting up to 6 hours.
The successful completion of the project demonstrated the stability of ZY-86 under large-diameter and extended continuous curing conditions.
In a DN800 mm sewer rehabilitation project in Changchun, Jilin, the existing pipeline suffered from joint separation, leakage, and other defects.
The large temperature difference between day and night placed particularly high requirements on material stability.
Easy-Sight's ZY-86 liner, together with the X120-UV curing rehabilitation vehicle, successfully completed the project under extreme winter temperatures as low as -20°C.
The project further demonstrated the quality, stability, and cold-weather adaptability of both the UV-CIPP liner and the associated rehabilitation equipment.
In a DN500 mm sewer rehabilitation project in the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, Hunan, the construction site was located in the core area of the scenic zone.
Because of the limited working space, conventional large rehabilitation vehicles could not access the site.
The project therefore used the ZY-86 UV-CIPP liner together with the compact X120-UV-MINI rehabilitation system.
The pipeline was successfully rehabilitated, demonstrating the compatibility of Easy-Sight UV-CIPP materials with compact equipment and their suitability for pipeline projects in confined or access-restricted environments.
In a DN600 mm manhole rehabilitation project in Finland, Easy-Sight successfully completed the rehabilitation using the X120-UV-JX manhole UV curing rehabilitation system together with the ZY-86 liner.
Manhole rehabilitation typically involves several challenges, including limited working space and greater difficulty in achieving uniform curing.
The application of UV curing technology to manhole rehabilitation remains relatively uncommon in the market. The successful completion of this project therefore further expanded the application possibilities of UV-CIPP rehabilitation technology.
