    Product Overview

    The X5-HMA4 pipeline CCTV inspection robot is a high-definition system that uses a tablet as the main control unit. The controller connects wirelessly to other components, enabling real-time display and recording of HD inspection videos and crawler status.


    During inspections, the system instantly captures defect images and generates reports immediately after completion.

    The robot consists of four parts: the crawler, camera, cable reel, and control system. The crawler can be equipped with various lenses (e.g., rotating, pan-tilt, or fixed) and responds to commands from the control system—such as movement, steering, speed adjustment, and camera positioning. The control system displays and records footage in real time, while also allowing operators to add notes via touchscreen.

    Main Parts

    • Main Unit

      1. Configuration: Uses a tablet as the main unit, with built-in PipeScan acquisition software; Parameters such as CPU, Memory, Storage Capacity, Screen Size, etc., can be customized.

      2. Control Functions: Controls crawler movement, lens rotation, cable reel payout/retrieval, light source adjustment, etc.

      3. Video Display: Front video display with adjustable resolution.

      4. Status Display: Displays real-time time, date, travel distance, crawler attitude information; allows setting the font, size, and background color for the attitude display.

      5. Text Input: Supports input of Chinese/English characters for overlay display on the video feed.

      6. Usage Aid: Automatically identifies crawler model, calculates adapted pipe diameter, displays real-time lens height from ground.

      7. Clock Reference: Provides clock positioning for the current defect location and displays it.

      8. Alarm Functions: Includes roll angle over-limit alarm to prevent overturning; includes high and low air pressure alarms.

      9. On-site Interpretation: Capture pipeline defect images on-site, interpret defect type and level according to selected standards, and record into the CTV file.
