Functional Description
The T300L2 box culvert inspection robot consists of a tracked crawler, a cable reel, and a control terminal. The crawler utilizes a new track structure equipped with front and rear swing arms, enabling multiple posture adjustments. It is designed to operate in challenging environments with diameters of DN400mm and above, including those with silt, accumulated water, steep slopes, deep trenches, high ledges, and continuous bends where conventional CCTV inspection robots cannot function. It is suitable for inspecting municipal drainage pipelines, box culverts, covered channels, and rivers. Featuring a modular design, the system offers strong expandability and can be equipped with laser scanners, panoramic cameras, and other sensors for comprehensive inspection. In addition to capturing video footage of the box culvert, it collects 3D point cloud data of the pipeline and simultaneously constructs a 3D model of the culvert. This capability effectively addresses core challenges such as tracing the source of issues in box culverts, investigating drainage outlets, and measuring the dimensions of outlets and defects.
